The power of the human voice to create significant emotional and psychological change has been documented and proven throughout history.
Prior to the industrial revolution, we relied solely on our innate natural resources to create harmony in our homes, villages and communities. If you look at pieces of artwork during this time, you will see people working with their mouths open. It's because they were captured in their daily routine –– singing. There was no machinery to drown out their voices, so they worked at synchronizing their voices and their jobs simultaneously. The unifying aspect of song helped them to work more efficiently.
Nikki Slade brings this ancient practice back –– into the workplace. The best part is, one does not have to be musically inclined. It is more about tapping into a reservoir of energy that is released by each person's voice, creating a specific sound with a common goal.
The Conference Ice-Breaker
Each session is one hour long. Ideally the client would take 6-8 sessions over a three-month period with assignments in between.
This forty-minute session is extremely effective in breaking
the ice at the start of an event. It is used when the space is cold or when people are unfamiliar with one another. The power of joining together in sound and movement makes it very difficult to remain strangers!

Team Building Consultation
Initially, there is a consultation with Nikki over the phone to discuss the options. The client would then be sent a questionnaire to select a theme for the team and state the aims and objectives they would like fulfilled.
Themes include:
- VISION ALIGNMENT
This session is used for the opening of a new quarter, for bringing leaders together, and inspiring the company to vision and align together as one voice. The resonance of this session is very strong, as the experience can create lasting impressions in the hearts and minds of all those who participate.
- CREATIVE JUICE SESSION
This session is designed for media companies when creativity levels are particularly stagnant. Nikki's exercises refresh and awaken the team, bringing a surge of energy, a buoyancy that spontaneously re-captures ones imagination and enthusiasm.
- CONFLICT RESOLUTION/TEAM HARMONY
This session dissolves the tension and barriers between workers. A space is created where avoidance tactics are eliminated. It works because sound opens the heart and is transformative, and this particular session literally releases conflicts and authenticities that are present.
- COMMUNICATION/TEAM DYNAMICS
This session addresses the whole spectrum of communication. The programme includes exploring relatedness between workers and developing a space where communication flows naturally and easily.
- FULL SELF-EXPRESSION/PRESENTATION
This is ideal for teams and individuals who are called upon to deliver speeches and seminars to groups. This workshop is significant, as it unleashes a new vitality and vibrancy for participants who are required to do public speaking. They learn to fully express themselves during their delivery.

A typical session involves . . .
Half-day or full day sessions are available depending on the original debrief.
Nikki listens for the common note that is needed for the group – be it harmonious or fragmented. She then moves the energy of the team by encouraging them to gently shift out of their comfort zones.
Teams frequently report a rapid release of energy, enthusiasm and a unique dissolving of barriers leading to a brand new rapport with themselves and each other. They then bring this new energy and enthusiasm into the work environment. What participants usually say at the end of the session is:

What tools does Nikki use?
The primary tool is the voice, specifically in its core resonance. Her vast experience with primordial sound / original voice allows her to create a safe and non-judgemental environment where teams can connect to their natural voice with fun, freedom and playfulness.
Although Nikki has a library of ancient sounds and mantras to draw from, she inspires people to find their own!
Because we are not stationary in life Nikki includes free style movement to achieve a further opening of the voice. Once everyone has shifted into a freer place, she moves closer and closer into an alignment that compliments the company goals.
Each session is highly creative and designed to stretch people in playful
and powerful ways. Because of the spontaneous nature of this work, it is
never easy to articulate what will happen in advance, as each group is very different in its mood and debrief.
