has also been experienced by several inmates at Wandsworth Prison and

Slade's career began as an actress/singer, performing at such notable theatrical establishments as: Drury lane, the Royal Albert Hall, The Royal National Theater and the West End, and played in repertory theatre UK wide. After an inspiring awakening in 1989, Nikki's life took a profound turn, one that changed the course of her work and her life. She realized the need to explore the deeper connection that voice and sound had to the human psyche and body –– how certain sound vibrations caused a shift to occur, particularly when certain syllables were used in conjunction with the ancient chakra system. This methodology also created a more authentic expression of the voice.
Although no longer an actor herself, Nikki offers her unique approach to voice work to The Central School of Speech and Drama, the London School of Musical Theater and at The Actors Centre in Covent Garden. Nikki also works privately with producers, directors, singers, coaches, entrepreneurs, and CEO's.
Nikki has recorded three highly acclaimed CD's: Nectarine, Monsoon, and Soundscape. Nectarine was highly recommended by world-renowned tabla player Talvin Singh; Monsoon was publically acknowledged by Dr. John De Martini, and her sound meditation Soundscape has provided thousands of people with an easier way to quiet their mind and is used by leading yoga studios and motivational groups across the world. Cameron Alborzian used one of Nikki's chant tracks from her CD Nectarine for his documentary on Ayuvedic Medicine, seen on NBC's TODAY.
Interviewed by the BBC, Channel 5 and a featured guest in The Daily Mail, The Sunday Telegraph, The Guardian and Vogue, Nikki was recently praised by visionary author and speaker Barbara Marx Hubbard at The Global Summit 2010 in San Francisco.
As a writer, Nikki has contributed to several transformational books including The Wealth Garden, a publication produced by The New Dynamics of Wealth Creation and is currently working on her book entitled Free the Inner Voice, soon to be published.
Nikki currently lives in London.
